Message from our President

I am honored to be the President of Zonta Three Rivers Pittsburgh North.

Our club is all about making a difference – internationally, to our local community and to each other.

As one of more than 1,200 Zonta clubs in 66 countries with over 30,000 members, we are part of a global organization that empowers women worldwide through service and advocacy.  We advocate for women around the world through our affiliation with the United Nations as an NGO.  We support international service projects such as the Liberia Fistula Program, Safe Cities for Women in Honduras, Empowering Women in Samoa to Combat Violence, Global Education Initiatives for Girls, and a program in Rwanda for Elimination of New Pediatric HIV Infection and Prevention and Response to Survivors of Domestic and Gender Based Violence.

Locally, our club makes a difference by partnering with local agencies that support women in need.  We have completed hands-on service projects like birthing kits, coat drives, food drives, birthday bags for mothers in recovery and many others.  We have raised awareness of Human Trafficking in our communities and advocated for legislation to protect women against violence.  We have provided scholarships to help countless women further their educations.

To each other, we provide a community of like-minded friends.  We are united in purpose and support each other professionally and personally.

Please contact us to get involved!
